Nursing Institute Mitford Dhaka is a public nursing institute. This is the oldest & mother institute of nursing of Bangladesh. It was established in 1943. It is located at Sadarghat - Gabtali Road, Dhaka with Sir Salimullah Medical College & Hospital. It is recognized by the Director General of Nursing and Midwifery, Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FP).
