DIPLOMA IN MIDWIFERY




 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • The maximum age for admission shall be 22 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

  • Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with any subject (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

  • Student shall be medically fit.

  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in any subject conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.


General policy

  • Marriage cannot take place until the training period is over.
  • After admission, you have to give a pledge to follow the rules and regulations of the Bangladesh Nursing Council and the rules and regulations of the Nursing Institute.
  • No student can be continuously be absent from hostel or class without prior permission / notice.
  • If a student fails the final examination every 6 months and fails for the second time after 7 days, his / her training will be canceled.
  • If a student behaves rudely towards someone and if it is proved to be harmful for the institutions reputation then the training of that student will be canceled.


DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • Entry qualification: The applicants must have passed both SSC & HSC examinations from any
    discipline from any educational Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Bangladesh.
    Students will be selected on merit basis.

  • Marks conversion from General Certificate of Education (GCE) - „O‟ level and „A‟ level will be
    decided by the central admission committee.

  • Medical (physical & mental) fitness will be essential before admission.

  • For foreign candidate: According to admission policy.

  • Admission test will be conducted as per Act. of BNMC-2016 according to admission Policy/Nitimala.
